Forgive my absence for about a month...I tried to update my website while I was in the airport in Miami for 10 hours but they did not have internet access for 7 of those hours! And the time I was at home, just flew by and now I have been back here for a week and HE reminded me that I needed to share what HE has been sharing with me!

So, I am and have been in Kings and Chronicles for awhile just trying to understand all the different kings, what they did, and the effect it had on the world. Now I am reading all about Elisha and what HE did through this prophet. What I have been reminded of this week is that what HE says, HE will do!

In chapter 6 is one of my favorite stories, when Elisha's servant wakes up and looks out to see the king of Syria's army surrounding the city. Elisha's response is do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. He then asks The Father to open his servant's eyes to see the army and chariots of fire that were surrounding them.

What a picture! A huge army full or horses and chariots or fire all around them...and us! Everytime that I step out of this apartment, I step out in confidence that I am surrounded by the same army of My Father. When I go into a barrio, I not only go in with my team of Colombians but a huge team sent directly to me from My Father! What is there to fear? HE has gone before us, surrounds us as we head out to serve HIM, and HE has our backs! So again, what is there to fear?

For me right now, failure. I have four months left here to accomplish what HE has sent me here to accomplish! As I pry over HIS vision for these next four months, the idea that I could fail at this task of making this work independent before these 4 months are over! So how does HE respond, in chapter 7 which says hear what the LRD says and then you read how each thing took place, just as HE said! If HE told me to do this or that, HE will do it. I have to remember, that it is all HIM and for HIS glory!!

I have more...but this is where I am now!
