Sorry Mom, I have slacked and let this website unattended for two weeks! I am very sorry and it is not because I have a lack of interest to tell you all about what we are doing but because He has been doing SO MUCH here and I haven't been at my computer long enough to type it all out!

Where to start, oh where to start! How about Saturday night the 21st, sound good? I have a full day of working in the barrios and He is preparing the fields for the harvest as we follow His lead by telling the stories of J. I get home, shower, and head out to help Drlys with a youth group activity. (They can't get enough of my games!!) I come back home just in time to walk Gomer and head to the airport to welcome the Paul's to Cartagena!

They arrive with their 16 pieces of luggage and I walk the children back to our apt answering about 120 questions in our little 5 minute walk! These kids have changed so much...two of them aren't kids anymore and the other two just have learned more ways to ask more questions! We spent the night just talking and helping them get comfortable in their new apt, in their new country...their new mission field.

Sunday, we all head to church (more questions from the girls) and then it pours down rain so much so that I am not able to go to work. So, I help clean, unpack, organize and put away things for the Paul's in their house. It was a nice time of catching up on a 1 year and 3 months that we have been a part (while of course, still being productive!!)

Monday, more work with them and then that night we had a little get together at their house so that they could meet the other M's here in Cartagena. They taught us a great game called President...I love it! Of course, I cannot wait to share it with my youth at our next meeting!

The rest of the week was packed of helping them maneuver around the city. It has been a lot of fun to have them around!!

Friday night, the 27th, we had a meeting in my house for the youth from the sports ministry team. I told the story of J washing His disciples feet and we followed that with a feet washing ceremony of our own. At first, I was not sure if my spanish was so bad that they did not understand me or if they really just didn't want to wash each other's feet. So after I had washed 4 peoples feet, played through 2 songs, I decided to tell them again. And what happened next was absolutely beautiful! It was so amazing to watch these youth wash each other's feet carefully, pry over the person's feet, and embrace their fellow team member. Their reactions to this meeting were priceless and I think we spent a whole 2 straight hours just prying and washing!

So, of course Saturday and Sunday were amazing workdays!! One of the youth came up to me and said that maybe we should always just get together and pry for 2-3 hours before we head out to work...I was like, THANK YOU HLY SPRT!!! They get it! They really do get the power of pry and the huge need of it in this ministry!! Plus Ruth and the kiddos came with us which was really great for her kids to have an opportunity to see who we work with and see what we do each weekend.

I had the opportunity one night just to sit with the Paul's and just talk. It was so refreshing...they are two people that love the Lrd and are so knowledgeable about His Words! They challenged me spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally! Something that I have been lacking for a really long time! I praise Him for sending them here and look forward to seeing how HE is going to use them in a powerful way here!

Labor Day, I had the opportunity to talk to you, Mom, to Kerri (finally she got her computer back) and to the girls in our study of the Word. It was really a great day of just listening about what He is doing all over the world and sharing about what He is doing in my life!

And yesterday, we had a great workday! Ruth and the kids came with me on the bus out to Arjona! And it was beautiful to see her kids and the kids from Arjona interacting! I had the opportunity to ask the kids what they learned during the day and Madison told me that she learned that they do worship a little different than we do but it is all for the same Big Father!! Wow, such truth in her words!

Thank you for pryng this week! I am excited to see what happens tomorrow during PEPE, Friday during our youth meeting, and this weekend of work in the barrios! And I promise, to update this every week...no more two week draughts Mom!! I love you!!
